Holy crap, Interfictions is open again! :D Via Henry Lien: Interfictions is open for submissions. https://interfictions.submittable/submit Interfictions is a free, online pro market, backed by the non-profit Interstitial Arts Foundation. It is the online extension of the acclaimed Interfictions print anthologies, published by the Interstitial Arts Foundation and Small Beer Press, featuring writers such as Jeffrey Ford, Lavie Tidhar, and Catherynne Valente. Interfictions features work that blurs the line between genres, particularly works that are supposedly too literary for SFF markets but also too weird for literary markets. Interfictions is edited by fiction editors Christopher Barzak and Megan McCarron and poetry and non-fiction editor Sofia Samatar, and reigned over by alien queen/executive editor Delia Diana Sherman. Payment is 10 cents/word for fiction and non-fiction (see link for rights information). Different pay scales apply for other categories of work (see link for details). The portal for submissions has opened for two weeks only, 08/14/14 - 08/30/14. Please note that we have also opened a new Arts Department and are accepting submissions for arts projects as well.
