Friends of Q Society of Australia 2 hrs · Edited · As some of our friends will know, closely behind the Bendigo mosque project is a Sunni-Islamic group called Australian Islamic Mission. This group operates the Punchbowl mosque in Sydney, a steady fountain of love, harmony and gender equality. What is probably less well known is that the gentleman presiding over this fine Islamic Mission is one Bashar Al-Jamal. Bashar happens to also be regional director of another fine Islamic organisation by the name of Human Appeal International - or HAI. HAI has for some years been reported to support Arab/Muslim terror organisations operating in and around Israel and in the wider Middle East. For example abc.net.au/7.30/content/2003/s887343.htm reported that A 1996 CIA document states: Human Appeal International probably acts as a fundraiser for the Palestinian extremist organisation Hamas. It goes on to state: Human Appeal International is linked to the now defunct charity Muwafaq, which was accused by the US as being an Al Qaeda front organisation. The Israeli Government has HAI prescribed with other charities acting as conduits for Hamas and other terror networks, see item number 17: mfa.gov.il/mfa/pressroom/2008/pages/defense%20minister%20signs%20order%20banning%20hamas-affiliated%20charitable%20organizations%207-jul-2008.aspx Wikileaks has unearthed secret cables detailing HAI activities, for example here: cablegatesearch.net/cable.php?id=05ABUDHABI2169&version=1314919461 Will intel like this convince the city council of Bendigo that it could be a smart idea to put the mosque planning application on ice and have a closer look at that Trojan horse? Very unlikely, as this city council and the financial interests behind the project are hell-bent on wanting this mosque, no matter what. Lets wish them all a long and healthy life. Once the multicultural fog has lifted, many citizens of Bendigo will want to hold each of these enablers to account. In Germany, where mosque-building has been going on for much longer, concerned citizens already started to collate names and details of enablers in a database for what they call the Nuremberg Two process.
