Friends of the FABULOUS MONTEREYS!! 8/25/14 (Montereylions) WANNA DANCE? HERES YOUR CHANCE!! Come on out to the Port Orange Eagles this Friday the 29th. Fuzzys high school era band, the Hard Times will be sharing the stage with us. Check out “I Cant Wait Till Friday Comes” and “Old Wine, New Bottles” on Youtube. The Hard Times and the Montereys will be trading sets. You dont want to miss THIS show! Then on Sun. the 31st, well be at the Orange City Eagles starting at 6:00!! Its our first time there so hope to see you all. We are always working toward expanding our range of venues, in order to bring our oldies dance tunes to a club near you. For those who were unaware, or just not interested, the Montereys were founded waaay back in 1957 up in New York. They were inducted into the Rockabilly Hall of Fame ca. 1974. Of course, there are no original members still with the group. Those of us who comprise the band currently are very proud of our heritage and doubly proud to have such loyal friends. We always have fun playing for you, our friends old and new. So bring your buddies and their dancin shoes in for an experience they wont find anywhere else!
