DISCUSSION: So Im wondering about how different Witches cast circles. I hear a lot about calling on The Guardians of the Watchtowers. It seems logical, but in the Big Blue Book (The Complete Book of Witchcraft) by Raymond Buckland, (whom I trust fully!) he clearly states that this is not always a good idea. He says invoking the Lord and Lady is all you need. In the book he talks about how calling upon these guardians, you are calling upon things (like salamanders and dragons) that can cause very bad things to happen. In one case, a coven forgot to dismiss and thank the southern guardians then the whole south of the covenstead caught fire! Thoughts on this? ~Amy )O(
