Friends take time to read this. Bear with me, please, alam ko mahaba to. Exactly two weeks ago, Oct 28, 2014, nabiktima ako sa mall ng ipit gang. A modus in which a person will distract you by dropping something, while his/her accomplice will sandwich you in between them to steal something from you. In my case, it was my phone. Heres how it happened. I was strolling around this mall when I noticed a woman, lingering outside every shop that I came out of. More than 3 shops to take note. I didnt think of anything bad yet, I just said to myself: Ang weird bat anjan sya lagi. After that, i dismissed the thought and headed to the escalator. Before i got to step onto the escalator, she went on it ahead of me. From here ang bilis na ng mga nangyari. When she reached the last step of the escalator, she dropped something. So nagkabanggan kami. Nabangga din ako nung nasa likod ko. I was pissed. Pero wala tapos na e. Before heading to the next escalator, I checked my bag. Wala na fone ko. Ung nasa likod ko pala, took my phone. And I never saw it coming. I FLIPPED OUT! So i turned and followed the thief - NO I RAN TO HER. Good thing di pa cya nakakalayo. Sobrang galit ko, hinila ko yung arm nya, she almost fell to floor, and I shouted: HOY NINAKAW MO FONE KO. IKAW LANG BUMANGGA SAKIN. MAGNANAKAW KA!!!!! I made a scene, YES. Wa pakels. I wanted to rip her arm from her body and feed it to all the rats like her. She tried to deny it. Kinalkal ko bag nya, and threw all of her shit to the floor. The phone wasnt there. But I was sure she or theres someone else with her who took my phone. I alerted the guard, i told him what happened. I havent let go of her filthy arm, I had no plans on doing so. I wanted her to go and rot in jail. And then she whispered to me: ATE AYUSIN NALANG NATIN TO. IPAPABALIK KO SA KASAMA KO YUNG FONE MO, PAALISIN MO LANG YUNG GUARD. I said: Cge, sasabihin ko na misplace ko lang sa loob ng bag ko. Ibalik mo na ngayon para mapakita ko sknya. She said: Punta tayo CR, dun ko papadala yung fone mo. Of course I didnt go with her. Baka saksakin nalang ako, or even worse. She also tried to lure me out of the mall. di pa rin ako pumayag. I told her, sa food court tayo. Dun marami tao. The guards cant follow us there anymore. She obliged. I told the guard kme nalang mag aayos. So we went to the food court. Nakakatuwa din sila manong guard, hindi nila ako pinabayaan. The guard had us followed by civilian guards, who sat right behind our table at the food court. When she finally said na nasa starbucks daw yung fone, we stood up and were about to go na, nung hinarang kme ng 5 guards and brought us to the malls office. after two grueling hours of waiting and hopelessness, her accomplice dropped my fone in one of the childrens rides in the arcade. There was no cctv there kaya pinili nila dun. Ang bilis din nila nakaalis kaya hindi nahuli yung kasabwat nya. Still, I insisted on filing a case. She went to jail that night. Served her right. Yung mga napapanood ko sa news on tv, i never thought would happen to me. But it did. Its a hard earned lesson. Im very lucky I got my fone back and nothing bad happened to me. im soooo grateful for that. I believe Im blessed. I have to admit, I do have a fault in all this. I didnt close my bags zipper. I was too lazy to do that simple thing. Masyado akong kampante. Boy, I was wrong!!! So peeps. My advice is to be alert, ALL THE TIME, EVERYWHERE! Be on guard. Trust your instincts. Wag mag paka siguro. Hindi lang sa malls. ANYTIME and ANYWHERE. Christmas season pa naman. Alam ko paulit ulit na to, pero iba pag nangyari sayo. Im sharing my experience to all, esp my family and friends. This experience has opened not only my eyes, but also my mind. The best thing about knowledge is that you cant erase what becomes conscious - LALO NAKO PRANING NGAYON. Pag may stranger ulit na tumuwad sa harapan ko, I wont think twice on kicking that persons ass. Mag so sorry nalang ako kung kelangan. Here are photos of the thief.
