Friends, thank you for another successful audax ride yesterday. Prior to this weekend, I was already bracing myself for a stormy ride. I was looking forward to actually doing this audax ride in Rapha style of braving the elements. And so, I was truly grateful and feeling very lucky because of the near-perfect conditions we had. Except for the stronger-than-usual headwinds, the weather cooperated. I knew a lot of people would back out due to the threat of typhoon. I was pleasantly surprised to see 168 registered (or should i say crazy!) participants yesterday morning. Even 2 good friends from Audax Randonneurs Singapore flew in the night before just to do the ride. Amazing spirits, everyone! I will be posting the results as soon as they are validated by Audax Club Parisien. Again, thank you so much for supporting our rides. Your mental and physical endurance are just amazing! :)
