Friends, this isnt the sort of post I make lightly, or frequently. - TopicsExpress

Friends, this isnt the sort of post I make lightly, or frequently. But this is St. George Hunter, youngest son of our dear friends Bryan and Elisabeth. Tomorrow morning he goes in for his second open-heart surgery (after an in-utero intervention) to repair congenital problems with his mitral valve. George is the reason youve seen me change my profile picture to the red cross on a white field now and then over the past couple of years. Its the historical St. Georges cross, originally. But young St. Georges friends in Charleston have made it his, for this fight. And look, I know that some of you here arent really the praying sort. But some of you are. And those of you that arent, Ive got to figure that you do something or other when the people (and particularly, the children) you love are facing something bigger than they can grapple on their own. This is one of those times, Id think. So if you are reading this, and are so inclined, join me in the hopes that tomorrow goes well for this little man, his heart, and his dear family. Thank you!
