Friends we wanted to give an update on Leo. Many of you have been following him all week. We took him to VCA Braelinn on Monday. His XRays showed he was breathing only off his left lung. Initial diagnosis was a diaphragm hernia. 2nd Radiology Consult however revealed he had an acute onset of severe pneumonia. Leo stayed in ICU for 2 days. We got him out on Wed for 1 night since there was no overnite vet tech. Thurs a.m. this little purr motor was back at the Hospital. His labs show some improvement, he is finally eating on his own. His bill for the week was $1900 and thanks to all donations, $1300 has been raised. We are still shy $600 and any help will be much appreciated. $1, $5 anything!
