Friends who are in direct sales businesses, please read this post in its entirety. I appreciate you having the desire to be an entrepreneur and want to break free from working for others. I get it. I too am an entrepreneur and am so grateful to do what I love. I am also a direct sales specialist but most people on here would have no idea what I sell. Why? Because I dont beat people over the head with it. I keep receiving private messages from people I have never even engaged in conversation with on or off FB. Theyre asking me to do them a favor and watch this video or take this test or try this product. Yuck! Is that what your up line is teaching you to do by way of sales? If so, you are not going to be as successful as you desire. How do you know I even wear, use, consume, etc. the product you represent? How can you come to me as a first engagement asking me to do something for you? I dont even know you. You dont even know me. If youre going to sell and want to build a business generating 4 or 5 figures a month, you need to learn how to move through the sales process. I generated a multimillion dollar business using skills and tactics that only display a high level of ethics. Selling is selling so stop the gimmicks or tricks to get people to play along.
