This is not spam or fake garbage There is a new MYSPACE “TOS” You cannot bypass it and come back to it later It is very very bad DO NOT SAY YES just to log in DO NOT SAY YES, JUST LONG ENOUGH TO TAKE DOWN YOUR SITE Once you say YES, they can do ANYTHING with your current online DATA -You lose all rights to control THEIR use of it. You cannot stop them no matter what.- -FOREVER- You own it, but have no legal rights as to how THEY choose to use it. No, you honestly cannot even get PAST the new TOS page just to login and take down your site. NOT unless you agree to the new TOS first You cannot bypass it and come back to it later AND if you agree to that TOS? They get to use all of your data in any manner they wish and you cannot even object on moral or legal grounds. You are agreeing to NEVER enforce your legal rights or object in any way, or hold them responjsible for any damages of any kind…even if it mean jail time for you.. They can use an image of your 7 year old daughter to sell condoms!!! And YOU cannot say no!! Are you a Rabbi with an image of yourself with a menorah on your page? Are you standing right in front of your temple in that picture? Guess what? They can use that picture (complete with the temple) to sell PORK or advertise for the KKK - and you cannot say “no”! They can use you to advertise the KKK –and you as a Rabbi have no right to say “STOP” Then can even put text onto that screen and put words into your mouth! As a Holocaust survivor they can use an image of your TATOO to promote a “White Power” hate political party They can sell that image for the use of that political party… or to a holocaust denial site! Is the KKK illegal where you live Is holocaust denial a jailable offense in your nation (like in Gemany)? You STILL cannot stop them from using your images or other data – or even your online persona information You can’t stop them They can claim that you – in the form of your online MYSPACE persona of “funnygoo426” – said this : “funnygoo426 on myspace says that there was no Holocaust” and you cannot stop them You could go to jail, and they just get cash They can use your music in anything they like.. and not pay you or even tell the wold it is your music. They can photoshop your face into an advertisement for anything! They can use your online persona name for this (the one you have used for the last 10 years) And any legal complications are your problem Ands you cannnot go after them in court’ OH HOLY CRAP This is what you agree to if you click [AGREE] to their new TERMS OF SRVICE DO –NOT- click –YES- You cannot change your mind later I know that you probably want to go and take down your account right now, but if you even click [AGREE] long enough to take it all down,. Then you AGREEDED – and it is too late. ONCE YOU CLICK [AGREE] THEN YOU AGREE FOREVER! IT IS IRRECVOCABLE Change your mind about things later? Did not know you could not take your site down without saying [YES] Did not READ it? Figure out how bad that TOS really is later on? Too late.
