Friendship? Francismdelvecchio 3.5.14 471 Dear President Obama, Your meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu and your declaration of no support if he doesn’t make a deal with the Palestinians demonstrates your hatred for Israel, our ally. First of all, who are you to decide what treaties we will support and which ones we won’t? Who are you to threaten Netanyahu and set conditions for a deal between foreign countries? I am sure the Palestinians and the Israelis can handle these negotiations on their own. The real opposition there is Hamas and the Palestinians have no control over them. The rockets are no falling on the Whitehouse lawn like they are falling in Israel. Someday Congress is going to wake up and take you to task for some of the idiotic statements and lies you make. Israel doesn’t need a friend that set conditions on their friendship and that is what you have done. Washington D.C. voted to decriminalize the marijuana laws and now it will really be party time in Washington. This gives a new meaning to the phrase “I’m not a potted plant.” Stop stirring the pot in Ukraine and making promises you can’t deliver on. The European Nations are not going to authorize sanctions that will stall their economy and bring hardship on their people just to make American politicians happy. You smooched along with Putin for the past five years and now he has Putinized you and your options are few and weak. Only Ukraine can strike a deal with him because you dropped the ball. Anything we try to do at this point will only bring hardship on the people there. The Whitehouse wants to halt the defense cuts, what a novel approach in a tumultuous world. This political budget you have submitted needs to find its way to the shredder. I think budgets should be crafted by sources other than politicians and submitted to them for approval. This would eliminate all the pork and set programs in place to rid the government of waste and fraud. I don’t think the stupidity factor will ever be eliminated, but it can be curtailed somewhat. Using the budget to help determine elections is as low as it gets from the Whitehouse. I never knew people could walk under doors rather than thru them. Jobs, realistic and honest tax reform and an accountable budget will help restore America and the prominence we once had in the world.
