From 1945-1959, the Japanese Language School served as temporary housing for more than 30 Japanese and Japanese American families returning from incarceration camps. Residents called the school the Hunt Hostel, a reference to the Minidoka Incarceration Camp in Hunt, Idaho. The JCCCW has just launched a website titled Unsettled~Resettled: Seattles Hunt Hostel. This webpage is the portal to our Hunt Hostel Blog and will contain the most up to date traveling exhibit schedule and book information, set to launch March 2016. jcccw.org/hunthostel/
