From 2009 to 2011 i travelled to four ecosystems in India. Mountains, Rivers, Grassland and Sea. I had one desire. Just one. To meet people who lived nature. I was tired of folks who just spoke environment. You see, I had heard of the word Climate Change. Made films on it. Researched on it. And i had realised. How utterly dry that word was. Evoking no feelings. Not from me. It was filled with scientific, statistical jargon that was disconnected from the lusciousness of my own senses. Nah. I knew my life in the urban city had cut off my own access to earth. Direct. So i had to ask. I had to experience what Nature actually meant. From the folks who lived it. Loved it. Played it. I journeyed with just one question : What is Nature saying to you? The responses were distilled into a 60 min film: Earth Witness. The film is being shown tomorrow at 7pm at India International Centre as a part of the ongoing Film Fest Quotes from the Earth. Those of you in Delhi are warmly invited to Listen to stories of four incredible communities: Baigas| Rabaaris| Nagas | Sunderban Farmers. https://youtube/watch?v=UPaP-0PK_o0
