From AACOPD Northern District Armed Robbery of a Citizen Brooklyn Park On FridayOctober 18th, 2013, at approximately 4:00 PM, officers from the NorthernDistrict responded to the area of 4th Street and Edison Ave in Brooklyn Park for a reported armed robbery ofa citizen. Upon arrival, officers spoke withthe victim, a 50 year old male resident of Brooklyn Park, who stated that at about 3:30PM he was walking home when he was accosted by two suspects. One placed ahandgun to his head, pushed him down into a sitting position and commanded himto turn over property. That suspect then reached into the victim’s rear pants pockets,removing the victim’s wallet. The victim also surrendered cash to the suspect.The second suspect stood nearby, looking about. After the first suspectfinished searching the victim, he snatched up the victim’s camouflage jacketwhich the victim had laid on the ground. The two suspects then fled, quicklywalking East on Highland Ave,into Baltimore City. The victim was not injured duringthe robbery. Patrol Officers and a K-9 searched the areawith negative results. Baltimore City Police were also alerted to the incident. Suspect #1:Black Male, about 5’7”, thin - medium build, grey hooded sweatshirt, bluejeans, armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.
