From ASA: Dear Sports Clubs Presidents We have been contacted by Uleisure to send them an expression of interest re sending teams down to Waikato University to represent Massey Albany. I have attached full information regarding the tournament. As there is currently no-one in the position of Clubs and Activities Co-ordinator (CAC), I am writing to you, to see if your club has an interest in sending a team to this competition. It is anticipated that a CAC will be in position by the date of the tournament. The competition will be held on Friday 30th May, which is the last day of Sem 1 lectures. Sports on offer are : Basketball (five-a-side), Football (six-a-side), Hockey (six-a-side), Netball (seven-a-side), Touch (six-a-side), Ultimate Frisbee (seven-a-side), Volleyball (six-a-side) Teams are mixed with a maximum of 12 members in a team. The cost of entry cannot be confirmed yet, but Uleisure have stated the entry fee per competitor to be $25. We would work with the Recreation Centre to keep all costs as low as possible. Could you consult with your club members and get back to me by the 11th April (or sooner!) to let me know whether or not your team is interested in taking part.
