From Bam Bellows. so you know its good: Lol. A communist, they called me. Uh huh. Look. I believe in a strong middle class. I believe that America shouldnt outsource everything that can possibly be outsourced. I believe that American products should be made by American workers. I believe that everyone who works a full time job should be able to make enough to live without government handouts. I believe that there should be no for-profit industry that stands between you and your doctor. I believe that no corporation should get rich off the misery of others, whether thats prisons or hospitals. I believe that in this, the richest nation on earth, we shouldnt have our countrymen living in poverty. We shouldnt have 1 child in 5 going to bed hungry. Our elderly should be able to eat 3 squares a day without breaking out the cat food. I believe that schools should teach with the purpose of pure education: not to pass a test, and not to get a job, and that everyone should be able to afford to go to college, and major in whatever makes them happy. And graduate without crushing debt for the rest of their lives. This doesnt make me a communist; this makes me someone who grew up in the 1970s, and didnt see anything wrong with society when people still worked 40 hours a week and could support a family on one persons paycheck. And take family vacations. And put the kids through college. And retire with a pension at 65. The people who want you to believe that you are bad for wanting your countrymen not to starve arent patriots. And theyre not going to be happy until youre starving, too. I am not a communist: I am someone who gives a shit about our country, and about our countrymen, and about the future.
