From Channel 3: Norwich police are searching for the driver who struck a teenager Thursday evening and then fled the scene. Police said the 14-year-old girl was at the intersection of Washington and Sachem streets around 5:30 p.m. when she was struck by the unknown vehicle. The teen was taken to Backus Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, she has since been released. Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call them at 860-886-5561.
