My organization, the Northern Ohio ALS Project has just launched its Kickstarter campaign to fund our documentary film, The Vincina Protocol. This film will share the ALS (Lou Gehrigs Disease) journey of my friend, Vincina Squeak Helfinstine, of Conneaut, Ohio. It will also chronicle her husband, Mikes work, following her death earlier this year, to create a new ALS medical protocol for better diagnosis and treatment, as well as discovering and eliminating the toxic environmental triggers of this and other motor neuron diseases, in Conneaut and other cities across the country. This 30-day campaign to raise $6,500 is the first of six we will have on Kickstarter, to raise a total of $50,000 toward completion of our film.
