The much lauded oil and gas industry is decreasing, financial agreements are with westminster and Highlands and Islands are having a referendum in the event of a yes vote as to whether they will leave and independent Scotland. The only reason Scotland is richer per head is due to the Barnett formula which allocates more of UK taxes per head to Scotland than to the English. The WHOLE argument for independence is built on Racism, nothing more or less. Socialist governments always increase national debt, so a choice of socialist SNP or socialist Labour with or without the oil spells economic nightmare and a descent into becoming a third world nation. Britain does benefit from Scotland but Scotland benefits from Britain. When Britain bailed out RBS and Bank of Scotland, it bailed it out to such an extent that if Britain forced Scotland to take on those debts on independence, it would be so far in the red, it would never get on its feet, being in the worst global depression of all time. We also dont want a Visa National, third world nation of anti-english racists on our doorstep, thank you very much. Oh and most major businesses have stated they will leave on independence, also lowering your GDP and employment figures. Anyone who votes yes wants sectioning under the Mental Health Act.
