From Dan: Time for a book review...Im reading Last Child in the Woods: Saving Our Children from Nature-Deficit Disorder by Richard Louv. I love this book. I consider it almost a must-read for parents and grandparents. Not only do I love it, but I think it is an important book. Among other good things about it, it has a field guide with one hundred practical actions we can take to help our children and grandchildren, including 35 discussion points for book groups, classrooms and communities. It is well-written, full of interesting quotes and practical ideas for educating present and future generations. Anyone have any suggestions for me?
