From Dave Cooper: In response to the coal chemical spill disaster in Charleston, West Virginia, there will be a rally and candlelight vigil on Tuesday, January 21 (tomorrow) at 6 PM at the West Virginia State Capitol, 1900 Kanawha Blvd. in Charleston, West Virginia, just a few miles away from the spill. The West Virginia State Capitol is located just off Interstate 64 - take the Greenbrier St exit. It is easy to find and there is plenty of parking around the capitol. You are invited to attend and show solidarity with the people of West Virginia whose water has been poisoned by this chemical that is used to wash coal. Bring a candle or a sign, or needed supplies for local residents. Meet at the riverfront next to the Capitol at 5:45. Temperatures are forecast to be chilly, in the 20s.
