From Jody Nelson: Doris my dear I miss you terribly. I honestly believe with my whole heart you were a gift from heaven sent into my life for a reason. I took a chance and read you a chapter from the book of my life. It was a horrific story that brought tears to our eyes. I believe it bonded us as sisters of the soul...as well. I shared the ugliest part of my life to you and you looked inside my heart & saw beauty & helped me to see it also. You gave me strength and the courage I needed to make the changes that were absolutely necessary for my survival. So in a sense you saved my life also. Your compassion and sympathy for what I had been my life for so long overwhelmed me. No one had taken the time to really listen before you and it touched my heart so deeply. Thats when I knew....I knew you were an earth bound Angel sent to guide me in the right direction. For that I will always be grateful...Doris you have the kindest most caring heart of anyone I know. Im so grateful we became close these past 5 months. So close in fact that your absence has impacted my life as well. Im so sorry I wasnt able show you my gratitude or how much you truly mean to me. I take comfort in knowing you have your wings now and watch over your loved ones from heaven. I know I can feel you presence sometimes and the goose bumps I get confirms it for me.
