From Johnny Linehan: BRITISH EARTHQUAKES ~ and the ConDem government wants to play with them Look at the distribution of the largest earthquakes in the UK, by clicking on the map of Britain. They can erupt anywhere and everywhere as you can see! We have several hundred minor seismic events every year, that are hardly felt, BUT we also have major ones every now and again. There has only been one instance of slickwater fracturing in the UK, which is the process used to shatter whole strata of shale rock with water, sand and chemicals that are pumped horizontally within the shale formation by massive, powerful pumps. And even the company that did it, Cuadrilla, admitted that this caused two significant earthquakes. Playing around with earthquakes is not a smart thing to do, and yet the government has issued licences that could lead to thousands of fracking wells all around the country, and because they know it is dangerous and harmful, they are trying to bribe local councils not to oppose it. Click on this link for a list of all the major earthquakes in the UK and note particularly the one on 25 August 2013, affecting Irish Sea and Blackpool, Lancashire, England, that was 2.4-3.3 on the Richter Scale. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_earthquakes_in_the_British_Isles
