I frequently feel I am on the threshold of total madness honestly. Sometimes due to deep despair over the state of the world and the church, and sometimes due to raptures of glorious ecstasy and abundance of insight. The Hindus call it an awakened kundalini, the west calls it bipolar disorder -- energy difficult to control that is overwhelming. Lord, crush my pride. May I die a violent death for your glory and self-abasement, like you my Lord. A soldiers death. Be with my family, Lord. Whatever your will is, I will live long if it is your will. Lord, recalibrate my brain chemistry, heal my soul.
