From: Laura Luth Novak 12 hrs For anyone that knows my husbands mother, Naomi (Nome) Novak. She is in a rest home. She is 91 years old. This has been a very traumatic few months for her beginning August 15th when she suffered a heart attack followed by a second one a week later. She has been in Bronson Hospital, Bremen indiana Hospital, Elkhart General and Lee Memorial in Dowagiac. While she was recovering, her husband, Ed Novak, passed away and she was unable to spend his final days with him. She will never be able to return to her home again and basically has had just about every element of life as she knew it taken from her. Major lifestyle changes at her age are difficult and she has undergone much depression. However she is doing much better and seems to be settling in to her new life in the rest home. She suffers from dementia at times as well. This will be a difficult Christmas for her so Lance and I would love to see her showered with Christmas cards or a brief note.
