From Mary McCarty: I urge all my friends who are Florida voters to vote Yes on Amendment 1 in November. If passed, $10 billion will become available over the next twenty years for Floridas conservation land and water resources without raising taxes by using only one-third of the already existing documentary stamp tax revenue. Our natural resources here are so beautiful--we need to protect them now before theyre all paved over!
