From Namibia to Egypt-a life changing travel Mr Johan Steyn, a retired businessman from Namibia, started on 4th of july 2014 his travel to Egypt with his BMW motorcycle. He arrived in Makadi Garden Azur 4 months later, on 22nd of October. During these 4 months, he travelled 16000 kilometers through 13 countries. Each of these countries left its own impression for Mr Steyn, from beautiful and corruption free Rwanda, over the wildlife of Kenia, till the humbling friendliness of the people in Sudan. The Egyptians he describes as very passionate people. During his journey, he almost camped 95% of the time, cooking fast and easy meals and of course took good care of his motorcycle. This trip brought him to his limits, having many accidents with the bike what pushed him down physically, and the missing of his family, who supported him at all times, in emotional way. We want to thank Mr Steyn for his visit and sharing his story with us. His journey is still not finished yet, as he wants to reach Germany as his final destination. We wish him good luck and a great and safe trip, and we hope to welcome him soon again here in Makadi Garden Azur.
