From Norma Reheis and the Monroe County Historical Museum: Kevin Monroe, with his wife of Belleville, discussed the many political issues facing the citizens In the early colonies. Roselyn Mathews & Mrs. Monroe discuss the discomfort of womens clothing during that time period. Monroe explained that in addition running the home his wife was also the teacher for their six children. She was also interested in Gaming and taught them how to make their own checkerboard and how to play the game. Guests and board members thanked Mr. Bill Wilson for organizing and bringing the Showcase to the Monroe County History Museum.
