From Pastor Steve: By now, most of you have seen my letter or heard me share in church this past Sunday that my time at FirstB is coming to an end. Sunday, August 17 will be my final Sunday. I have to tell you that I had no idea how difficult this would be. When I ponder not being with you week after week, I feel a real sadness. I believe I am acting on a new call from God at this time and am excited to be back with my family in the Twin Cities full-time. As a futuristic, hopeful thinker, there is excitement about what God has in store for my future and the church I will serve. But, I will feel this as a deep loss. I suppose that means Ive come to love you all so deeply and thats a good thing...a really good thing!! Weve come a long way together and there is great leadership in place for a great future. I am so full of hope for how God is going FirstB to bless many, many people. As I mentioned in my bulletin article, God wants to take you and FirstB higher and higher. My challenge to you is to make that climb with each other. Dont quit. Dont stop. Ask God How do you want to use me? Keep loving each other! God will take you higher and higher for His Kingdom purposes! I love you all!! Pastor Steve
