Whatever image elements of the media establishment may portray, UKIP are, in reality, not on the side of ordinary people - as Nigel Farage himself said, he and his party are about keeping the flame of Thatcherism alive. People need to have the chance to hear and consider critiques of the European Union from a socialist - not just a Thatcherite UKIP and far-right - perspective. And people should have the right to have their democratic say on this fundamentally important issue, following wide-ranging and informative debate the length and breadth of the country.
