From The Preachers Pen: A church should be a place of warmth and fellowship, and a place where even the newest member or latest visitor feels welcome and at home. Is this true of your church? Simply attending a worship service doesnt automatically mean closer relationship with others. If you are an old-timer in your church, go out of your way to welcome visitors and new members. And if you are a visitor or new member, make a special effort to get to know people. Find out what activities the church offers for spiritual growth. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
