From The Records John Wicks..... As many of us are aware, John has had a somewhat tumultuous Summer due to some health issues that desperately needed addressing. John has offered the following update on his condition: After a 36 hour hospital stay, last Monday/Tuesday, September 29th/30th, 2014, my prostate procedure was finally taken care of. I am now at home recovering and hope to be able to return to business as usual, as soon as possible. This was the second of two operations, the first one - back on June 30th - was for the removal of what was initially thought to be a low-grade malignant tumor in my bladder, but after pathology analysis and tests, ultimately proved to be benign. My sincere thanks and appreciation to my two wonderful, kind, doctors, both of whom took, and continue to take, incredibly great care of me on this journey - namely: Dr. Soroush Ramin, who successfully performed both surgical procedures, and his colleague, Dr. Mehran Movassaghi, for his vigilance in diagnosing the bladder tumor. Interesting to note that my previous urologists - (I wont name names) - all failed to detect the bladder tumor, proof positive that rather like music biz execs and so forth, doctors arent created equal. During my follow-up appointment with Dr. Ramin, last October 3rd, he informed me that the bleeding and soreness are normal and indeed to be expected after such a big operation as this latter one was, but I came through both ops with flying colors and Im recovering remarkably well, all things considered. I look forward to making more music and great things to come. Thank you all so very, very much for the stream of well wishes, prayers and positive vibes, all of which have helped me tremendously.
