From We To Me Im illiterate to this pain, no words to describe it. A new vocabulary taught to me that doesnt include the word you. Tragedy has been hired to teach me a new life lesson that Im forced to learn. But amidst the darkness is a dim light and it shines just enough to help me move through each day. Helping me to move into places half empty, places once filled by us, in a life we once shared together. And though you may be out of sight, you are far from being out of my mind. For in my dreams you will live forever, a table reserved only for us. A place where everything becomes possible again. A place that feels more complete. A place where my vision is improved even with my eyes closed. Thats because life with you was always seen in 20/20. But as I awake, I realize that reality has changed my prescription. Life becomes blurry again and I worry that I wont be able to journey throughout life without your guidance. But having foresight requires you to accept the things you cannot see, to accept the fact that you will never see things as they once were. I refuse to let pain blind me, for the vision of you gives me a better outlook of what is yet to be. And knowing that gives me hope that I will see my way out of this darkness and into brighter days to come.
