From Wikipedia - Political Correctness, I know its not very hard to confuse the British political parties but knowing this will put them in a spin. In the early-to-mid 20th century, contemporary uses of the phrase “Politically Correct” were associated with the dogmatic application of Stalinist doctrine, debated between formal Communists (members of the Communist Party) and Socialists. The phrase was a colloquialism referring to the Communist party line, which provided for correct positions on many matters of politics. According to American educator Herbert Kohl, writing about debates in New York in the late 1940s and early 1950s, The term “politically correct” was used disparagingly, to refer to someone whose loyalty to the Communist Party line overrode compassion, and led to bad politics. It was used by Socialists against Communists, and was meant to separate out Socialists who believed in egalitarian moral ideas from dogmatic Communists who would advocate and defend party positions regardless of their moral substance. So when the LibLabCon/UKiP uses the phrase Politically Correct whos policies are they referring to? A Tory is not politically correct to a Labour supporter, in the same way a Labour supporter is not politically correct to a Tory, otherwise they would be in the same party. I do not follow LibLabCon/UKiP or their policies so as far as they are concerned I am not politically correct, no party is politically correct to the opposition If an ED member follows the English Democrats party line then they are by definition Politically Correct as far as we are concerned. So in short, ED members are politically correct and ALL other parties are not Politically Correct- Get the point?
