From a fan Hi! So I need some advice from other moms... I am a stay at home mom to two kids ages 4 and 9mo. We found out a few weeks ago that Im pregnant again which was not planned and we are a little shell shocked. We got pregnant with my first before we were married and very young. My mom had a very hard time accepting that. It took a long time for her to come around (didnt come to our wedding, didnt speak for several months because of it too.) Fast forward and we are happily married and tried for 14mo to have our second. My mom was ok with the second but I am petrified of telling her. She is very vocal and kind of looks that we dont have more money, or that I dont work or contribute, etc. Most people say who cares or something similar but thats hard because shell always be my mom and Ill always want her support. We are finally in a good spot and getting along great.She is wonderful to our kids and buys them things we wouldnt be able to. We are very lucky that she wants to do those things for our kids and us. I guess I just dont know how to prepare myself for telling her? I can hear in my head what shell say about being irresponsible, we dont have enough room in our house, Im too young...Its over the phone because she is out of town and not a short drive away. Everyone else we tell will be excited and happy for us for sure. I just want to get this one over with since it will hurt the most. Any suggestions would be appreciated so much. Just petrified because she will always be my mom and I dont want to ruin what weve got right now. Thanks so much!!!
