From a nurse in Ohio: Good morning! I am from Ohio and sent my representatives a message about the Mandatory flu vaccines. I got a call right away!!!!! I am so excited!!! One thing that they were VERY interested in is the fact that the hospital claims to have the power to veto our own doctors exemption with their doctor panel. When this happens we are forced to get the shot AND sign a waiver of liability for anything that goes wrong. If we refuse the waiver they wont give the shot = no job. Also at my hospital they gave the version of Fluzone (with Thermosal) to pregnant women when the non-Thermosal option was available. Could you ask readers or tell me if all hospitals are forcing people to sign those waivers of liability, they seemed really interested in that?
