From all of us at Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, we want to give you a huge, heartfelt thanks for helping us reach our goal to fund Madelines trachea surgery. We are happy to report that she had her surgery on Tuesday at Upstate Veterinary Specialists and is home recovering with her foster family. Surgery went great and according to one of Maddys foster dads, Last night was the first night she slept without interruption because could actually breathe. And for the first time, she was able to eat her dinner without turning blue and having to stop multiple times throughout the meal to catch her breath. Its like she is an entirely different dog! Thank you friends- it truly will take all of us working together to build a No Kill community.
