From my perspective, one line describes it all, “It’s always about principalities-which is determined by power!” On one hand you have death (the consequence of sin) and on the other hand you have life (Christ’s gift of eternal life: as stated in John 3:16). No one can control/manipulate (reverse, forward, pause, etc..., ‘time’ except God Himself, which means that the future is unknown and Christ Jesus’ Second Coming is unknown, and “THE POWER OF CHOICE IS YOURS…” According to the prophet Daniel (the prophesy through interpreting the king of Babylon’s dream), the last kingdom ruling the world (before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ: which was described in the king’s dream as a Rock, representing God’s kingdom destroying the image, through its feet of iron and clay) would be of iron and clay. Daniel 2:33 “Its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay.” Since the previous kingdom (made of iron) represents the empire of Rome, the feet of iron and clay represents the surviving Roman empire ruling/controlling the divided nations through “relationship”. Daniel 2:41 “Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of porters clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay.” Daniel 2:43 “As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay. Of course, ruling and controlling can only be established through power/order (as described in wikipedia:en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_World_Order_(conspiracy_theory). Revelation 13:12 “And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and all who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wounds was healed.” Revelation 13:17 “and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” But then again, “The power of choice is yours, the future is unknown (only God controls ‘time’), and Christ Jesus’ second coming is soon at hand…”
