From my web site: Hello, I am Josh Perschbacher. I use unconventional tools to do the impossible. Some people think that makes my music invalid. I say my music speaks for itself. I fret every minor detail in each piece of music I touch. Every single note has been given my full attention. Every minuscule spacing of breath; every attack, and every release is where it is because I made the conscious choice to put it there. There is nothing machine made about my music. There are no static tempos. No metronome. I use a computer to the play the notes into the organ because human fingers are not capable of literally replicating the music of a symphony orchestra at the keyboard. I use technology to make the organ into a virtual orchestra. MIDI is nothing more than a tool that allows a musician to create the impossible. Where I live in Atlanta Georgia the American Guild of organists has banned me from participating in its official activities because they believe that because I use this tool, MIDI, to do the impossible, that makes my music invalid. I say listen for yourself and tell me what you think.
