"This is the Illinois State Memorial at the Vicksburg National Military Park, last night, July 3, 2013, after volunteers laid out over 19,200 luminaries through the park. Every memorial had at least 100 luminaries, all representing a casualty. In all over 19,000 casualties were documented combined from both sides of the Vicksburg Campaign of the Civil War."
