From our Second Annual Reading of the Declaration of Independence 7/4/13. Only a small group, but they all promised to come back next year and bring other people with them. It was an interesting event, with some people saying they had never read the entire declaration before. We had som interesting discussions following the ceremony, which took place under our flag pole. The ceremony started with the Pledge of Allegiance which was followed by a moment of silence to remember those who mad it possible for us to assemble for this event. Then came the reading, which was split into four segments, each read by a different person. Following the ceremony we had hot dogs, hamburgers and a good time.
