From the 1st January Lithuania introduces Euro as the currency. Lithuanian Litas will be accepted in shops for payments until 15th January (payments will be accepted in both currencies, the change will be given in Euro). If you have Litas in cash you can exchange it in banks free of charge. All your money in saving accounts in Lithuanian banks will be converted to Euro automatically without any additional charge. Note: the prices will be in Euro and Litas - price in EUR will be on the top (or just see what number is smaller than the other one - 1 EUR ir 3.4528 LTL) More useful and practical information on euras.lt/en/
