From the 2014 Luora Secondary School Motivational Talk: -Together with Mercy Adhiambo, Kadika Vin and three friends of mine, we motivated the more than 350 students to perform better, more so the candidates. -We donated 3 revision text books on behalf of the alumni and awarded the best four performing students in the County MOCK Exams. -The 59 candidates promised to work hard and post better results this year. On behalf of the alumni, we promised 10,000/= for an A-, 5,000/= for a B+ and 3,000/= for a B+. Solro ochomowa mbele kae ka nyithindo otimo maber. Mercy promised the top most student a bag too. -Many students lack school fees and the school continues to lack a borehole. The alumni body is requested to support in these areas in any way it can. We can link up the school with sponsors or well-wishers. -The BoG is taking the issue of Alumni formation seriously and will be the agenda of their next meeting. 3-4 of us will be absorbed into the committee which will be formed by the BoG -The school management really appreciates what this group is doing. With unity and commitment we can achieve more. Meanwhile, anyone in Nairobi can buy me a soda this evening.
