The ritual I had witnessed at the Cave, had made such an impression those many weeks ago, that I barely gave a thought to procedure as I went about the task of creating my circle (Groups of humans bonded together in love and truth) fortress (Place of Protection against Lies). Walking Sun (Truth) Wise at random, I selected twelve fist sized stones (Disciples) which seemed to speak as I touched them, and created of these a circle (Group of humans bonded in love and truth), And created of these, a Circle (Group of humans bonded in love and truth), equal exactly in breadth to my own body length, but taking care to leave the Eastern (Rising of Truth) most stone (Disciple) out of place as Otherworld Gateway. While placing the four Symbols of Mastery in their proper directions, I paused in the West (Setting of Truth), and worried that the unfinished state of the Chalice might affect the Authority it represented. But then I recalled being taught that the power of the objects resided not in their physical forms, but through their symbolic form within the mind of the Magician, raised by the power of ritual onto the Otherworld Realm. And so, I forged ahead.
