From the Chamber regarding donation update from Washington! Please read if youre planning on taking clothing items!!! Chamber Members and Friends, A few more updates to share… COLLECTIONS Washington is no longer in need of any coats or clothing items. Please do not bring any coats/hats/gloves/scarves to our Morton Collection Site at the school district. We have removed these items from our collection list. Community United Church of Christ is accepting hygiene and clean-up kits. Hygiene Kits include: A gallon-sized freezer bag filled with a washcloth, a hand towel, soap, toothbrush, small or travel-sized toothpaste, deodorant, and other smaller or travel-sized hygiene supplies that may fit. Clean-up Kits include: A lidded 5 gallon bucket, disinfectant cleaner, brush, rags, and sponge(s). Please put your kits together and drop them off a Community United Church of Christ, 300 N. Main St., Morton, IL. Church friends and members with access may bring their kits anytime. Others are encouraged to bring their during open church office hours (8 AM-2 PM, M-F) The Community Harvest Food Pantry is collecting food and hygiene items for anyone in need. You can drop off these items at any time in their alcove (which is open 24/7). They are located at 1901 S 4th Ave, Morton, IL 61550 - (309) 266-9510 FUNDRASIERS Pizza Ranch in Morton will be donating 10% of all sales plus donations collected to the American Red Cross Tornado Relief Efforts beginning this evening through Saturday.
