From the Desk of Abhijeet Rane.... 1) Devendra Phadanvis is another Prithviraj Chavan Man of Character Principle O tolerance to corruption will not indulge in dirty politics BUT like Prithviraj will be unpopular & targeted for seating on controversial files & will lack glamour popularity & BJP MLAs will feel frustrated. 2) If GADKARI had become CM he wud hv been most popular, result oriented; though controversial; he would hv become Modi of Maharashtra; built, funded party & strengthened BJP workers showering posts, positions; check mated SS, NCP but (sorry)RSS wants Prithviraj of BJP -Devendra - as CM. 3) Devendra Phadanvis is another BRAMHIN after Manohar Joshi to be CM but difference is Joshi had backing of Balasaheb whom he kept happy by taking CARE of Uddhav Raj Smita & managed to siphon off CREAME of Shivshahi cum Peshawai but Devendra will face resistance bcos of caste. 4) Devendra Phadanvis does not fit in to d expectation of people who had visualized how a CM of Modi shud be in Maharashtra :A aggressive dashing dare devil HERO but coalition partners wud be happy with Devendra as CM because he will care fear & share with them politely (Gadakari wud never). 5) Devendra Phadanvis is RSSs choice not of BJP MLAs because 40 out of 42 MLAs from Vidarbha wanted Gadakari to be CM same with others as now all of them need want require A MAN OF QUICK ACTION to repay loans they hv incurred during election; they want to hv bureaucrats of choice in constituencies; funds for projects & contracts tenders to oblige men of their choice; positions for workers & ONLY Gadkari has d guts; Devendra will hesitate. 6) One theory behind selection of Devendra as CM is that Amit Shaha & Gujarathi lobby in Mumbai wanted a PUPPET CM whom they can make dance to their tune & Gadakari a born fighter aggressive leader did not fit in to it so setting aside demand of around 100 BJP MLAs Shaha preferred DP.
