From the Desk of Rev. Lee This Saturday November 30th - Holiday Decorating and Tree Trimming Wear your Santa Hats and Christmas socks. Join us as we Deck the Halls of our lovely church. Starting at 9:00 a.m. we will be decorating for Christmas. Every area of the church needs decorating. There is something for everyone to do. The more the merrier. We will also be putting up a Christmas Tree. This is a fun way to start the Season. So come and share the holiday spirit. Don’t forget to wear your Santa hats! Even if you can only come for a short time any help is appreciated. Community Badge Program I will be joining the Core Council in launching our new ‘name badge’ program. I don’t know how many people have said…”I know the face, but I can’t put a name with it.” or they will say, I have been coming here for years-speaking to people but don’t know their name. It is embarrassing to after all this time ask them. Beginning in December, we will provide name badges to everyone who comes to our Sunday service. There will be someone in the foyer at a table who will make the badges for you. After service, there will be a place to leave your badge so that it will be ready for you when you return the next time. There is nothing like knowing and speaking someone’s name to build togetherness and community. Join us in doing this small activity that will make a big difference in growing our community.
