Rather than dealing honestly with allegations of their own shortcomings, they deny having knowledge of problems and go straight back on the attack, aggressively demonizing their opponents. Taking cues from his political mentors, Terry McAuliffe now contends that he had “no idea” that a company he invested in was profiting on dying people while garnering a windfall of annuity money. Terry McAuliffe wants to be Governor of Virginia but he is in no way qualified. Republican candidate Ken Cuccinelli has challenged McAuliffe to give details of even one plan or proposal he would enact if elected, only to receive a new barrage of negative attack ads in response. Elections have consequences – and the Virginia gubernatorial race is especially critical both to the Commonwealth and the nation as a whole. Please see my important update below – Mat. *** Otto von Bismarck, the first chancellor of Germany, said, “Never believe anything in politics until it has been officially denied.” Bill Clinton is infamously known for advising Monica Lewinsky, “There is no evidence, so you can deny, deny, deny.” President Obama has perfected the method of feigning ignorance in every scandal that has plagued the White House. His executive obliviousness includes the recent scandal that the “rogue” NSA was spying on German Chancellor Angela Merkel and other world leaders without his knowledge. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton denies knowing about the security issues facing the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya, and told members of Congress… “The specific security requests pertaining to Benghazi, you know, were handled by the security professionals in the department. I didn’t see those requests, they didn’t come to me, I didn’t approve them, I didn’t deny them.” Terry McAuliffe, the Virginia gubernatorial candidate whose political mentors include, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton, has also mastered the art of denial. ++Terry McAuliffe PLACED BETS ON DYING PEOPLE! In a critical Washington Post report, Terry McAuliffe has been exposed as an unscrupulous businessman who invested in a company that was profiting off of the terminally ill. Here’s what the Post had to say… “A dying mechanic wanted a few thousand dollars to leave to his wife, two sons and infant daughter. A politically connected millionaire, now running for Virginia governor, wanted to make some money. And a Rhode Island estate planner wanted to become ambassador to the Vatican. All three came together on paper in late 2006 in a deal struck just two months before the 44-year-old mechanic died of cancer. The mechanic got $5,000. The millionaire, Democrat Terry McAuliffe, made at least $47,000. But the estate planning lawyer, Joseph Caramadre, went to prison instead of Rome. Caramadre helped McAuliffe place a bet on the dying man based on a loophole the estate planner had sniffed out in the fine print of insurance annuities. Although the loophole was legal, Caramadre has pleaded guilty to STEALING THE IDENTITIES of the terminally ill as part of his scheme. He is in federal prison, awaiting sentencing.” While there were more of the same preying on dying people investment schemes, Terry McAuliffe denies knowing the intent of the investments and has referred to himself as a “passive investor.” As the scandal came to light, McAuliffe made a charitable donation to the American Cancer Society of an amount somewhat less than the amount of his windfalls. He failed to report the income as required by law and subsequently made the reporting revision. Would Terry McAuliffe have done anything but pocket his scandalous returns if he hadn’t been sniffed out by investigative reporters? ++McAuliffe’s denial of knowing these facts is a scandal in itself.
