From the Farmville Chamber of Commerce: The Farmville Area Chamber of Commerce will hold their membership luncheon on Monday, June 10. Chamber members encourage community, business and academic leaders to attend the meeting for a strategic discussion on driving economic growth and job creation in Southside Virginia. The featured speaker, Barry DuVal, President and CEO, Virginia Chamber of Commerce, will be presenting BLUEPRINT VIRGINIA, a comprehensive effort to provide business leadership, direction and long-range economic development planning for Virginia. The luncheon will be held in the Nance Room of the Dorrill Dining Hall at Longwood University. There is a $5 charge for chamber members, non-members and guests $15.
