From the Front Lines ~ Matt Sawaya and Kiara Nagel host a class at Antioch and they brought them to Elderberries to hear about our initiatives in the social realm here in Hollywood/Los Angeles. Both these beautiful friends join with YIP every year in Jarna Sweden and it was wonderful to hear Daniel speak of his experience of YIP. He spoke of this healing capacity birthing forth in the social realm here in Los Angeles as a co worker at Elderberriies . Sondi and Elizabeth joined us for the conversation and tonight they will get a chance to sit down for a community meal with Orland Bishop as well. So much beauty birthing forth here too as we hold our brother Sergei in his new beginnings. Met up with our friend Billy who loves all of our co workers and who also brought in a friend Dawn who is seeking healing in her life and a way forward after many years on skid row, in and out of prison and a childhood of rape and utter depravity all around her. I shared with her that it would be normal to hear that her life took a path many do not know of and may condemn but look where she is now! Right here with us and seeking to find a way to her own true being. Healing has so many different facets and always always always it involves the other human beings with hearts to hear and courage to bear their stories and to ponder what is possible in this community. The beautiful young people who joined us from Antioch had a chance to share their strivings and what they love and hope to create and ultimately the story of our café is never give up on your dream no matter what, keep on going and find those too of like mind who wish and are seeking you too! We had one young lady of the college students who shared that she has a wish to go to medical school for working with trauma units and how for her healing is what she feels called to be a part of. She feels that Elderberries really offers that healing space and so we are seeing what that might look like to bring her on board. Was so beautiful to have a chance to speak of Rudolf Steiner and share the Verse for America as well as Threefold as a healing social force.... wow so trying to meet what is new in the world now that Sergei has crossed the Threshold and how I can meet that in the world. Our name is officially changed to Elderberries Threefold Community Justice Café :) wonders that be! Natasha and Daniel cooking up a dinner for us and Did swinging by too I hear:)
